1. Make Applesauce in the Classroom
Start the super fun day by making applesauce together in the morning. (It will be ready to eat at the end of the day!)
What You Need:
- 8-10 Honey Crisp apples
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups water or apple juice
- Crockpot
- Potato masher
How To Make Your Own Easy Applesauce
- Toss all the items into the crock pot. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- When apples are mushy, mash them up with a potato masher until you reach your desired consistency.
- Reassure your students they WILL get to eat this yummy treat before heading home in the afternoon!
2. Hide and Seek Letter or Sight Word Game

How To Play
- Split your students into pairs or small groups. Give each pair or group a balloon.

- For positive community building, switch the pairs or small groups so your students get to play with different friends throughout the game.
