Polka Dots Please is for teachers who love for new ideas! If you want to learn about engaging your kids, improving your management, or organizing your classroom, you’ll feel right at home here!
In 2007, I started teaching first grade. Although I taught hundreds of kids, it was my own son that really inspired me to launch Polka Dots Please. When he started preschool, I realized he was very active. I was so worried about how he would do in a school setting.
I thought about my son and the kind of classroom I wanted for him. I began creating engaging activities that incorporate movement and build a classroom community! I designed a room with flexible seating and organization to make the most of our space.
Creating classroom resources that kids love and sharing ideas that teachers need has become my passion! You can read all my teacher tips and tricks on my blog and shop for all the resources I use in my classroom on Teachers Pay Teachers.
