Polka Dots Please is for teachers who love for new ideas! If you want to engage your kids, improve your management, or organize your classroom, you’ll feel right at home here!
I taught first grade for over a decade, but it was my own son that inspired me to launch Polka Dots Please. When he started preschool, I realized he was very active. I was so worried about how he would do in a school setting.
I thought about my son and the kind of classroom I wanted for him. I began creating engaging activities that incorporate movement. I also began to focus on classroom management that makes ALL kids successful and a classroom community where everyone belongs.
Creating classroom resources that kids love and sharing ideas that teachers need has become my passion! Today I teach graduate Early Childhood courses at St. Francis University in Pennsylvania.
