Valentines Please

Happy February Friends! I am sending lots of love your way today full of inspiration and freebies! This morning, my little guy and I made valentines for his preschool and for my firsties. Here’s a look at how we are sharing love with our friends…

When I pick Rusty up from preschool, he is almost always playing trains with his friends. A full-size toy engine would be way too big and way too expensive for our valentine budget, but Thomas Minis are perfect! (We didn’t need this many, but you can grab this set from Amazon.)

I made some printables and helped Rusty sign his name on each card. We are working on printing our letters so this was a fun way to practice! We attached the trains using washi tape, and now they are ready for school! You can grab the printables for free here

We also made some valentines for my firsties! When we were grocery shopping at Wal-Mart, I stumbled across these mini composition books. They are 3 for only 88 cents!! Yayyy!!!! The notebooks would have been great on their own, but I wanted to get a new writing tool too. I despise holiday pencils wrapped in plastic that clog my pencil sharpener and break every 10 seconds so I decided to get pens instead. These cuties are 3 for only 98 cents!! Yayyy again!!

I made some super bright and colorful printables to attach to the front. I used washi tape again to hold everything together! These tags would also be great for pencils, crayons, or markers. Attach them to gifts for kiddos, colleagues, or teachers! You can grab these tags for free here

Our valentines are all ready for school! I would love to hear more ideas about how you are using these tags with your sweet friends and family!
